We are now offering expert wheel building services to our customers

There are far too many options and rather than try to list them, it is best that you contact us to discuss your needs.

We stock new DID rims and spokes for many models. What we don't have in stock, we can order. Stainless or zinc plated spokes. Chrome steel or aluminum rims. Need new bearings and seals? We stock lots and we can replace them for you.

Labor costs:
• $80 USD - Lace and true 36 or 40 spoke wheel
• $15 USD - Install new bearings and seals
• Blast and polish hub (call for pricing)
A new rim band is included on each wheel that we build.

Prices for spokes, rims and bearings vary. Please check our site for the parts needed or contact us if the parts you need are not listed.

Rims, spokes and bearings do not have to be purchased from us. You are free to supply any or all of these parts.

 
This beautifully restored H2 front wheel was built in-house using parts that we stock.
 

We are now equipped to blast and polish or paint your hubs on the premises. All hubs are inspected for cracks and any signs of damage before building new wheels. We also have some refinished Kawasaki hubs and a small selection of complete rebuilt wheels in stock and offer an exchange program to allow a faster turnaround time.

Powdercoating is not a service that we offer and don't recommend it on hubs. If the powdercoating is too heavy which is common, it will prevent spokes from fitting through the mounting holes in the hub.

For us to true a rebuilt wheel, it must have bearings in place.

What goes into building a wheel
 
This is what we start out with. Everything we need to build an early H1 wheel.
Here's the finished H1 front wheel. New rim, spokes, bearings and seals. Now it's ready for final inspection and truing.
 
All wheels that we build are checked carefully and made true within thousands of an inch. Spoke tension is checked at this stage.
Runout gets a final check after spoke tension is adjusted.
 
When trung and final check has been completed, we install a new rim band and your new wheel will be shipped back to you. It's ready to roll!
Whether you do it yourself or we polish your hubs, the final finish can make or break the end result. Doing it right is worth the effort.
