What makes our 1970-1971 H1 seat cover the best...
Until now, none of the early H1 seat covers that we have found were ever quite right in our opinion.
They were acceptable but you always knew that anyone knowledgeable would spot it as a recovered seat at first glance.
Not anymore.

ORIGINAL SEAT
The image above shows an original 1970 H1 seat and the details at the rear. The shape of the "S" is quite rounded and the spacing of the "A" and the "S" is not unusually wide over the seam. You may also have noticed that the seam is NOT stitched.

TYPICAL REPRODUCTION COVER
The H1 cover is available from many suppliers and while it fits well and looks better than a torn seat cover, it is far from accurate. The seam is stitched and the KAWASAKI lettering is incorrect. The "S" is too square and the spacing between the "A" and the "S" is quite large so it could be printed over the stitched seam.

OUR "NEW" REPRODUCTION COVER
Here is a picture of the cover we have had made which is available exclusively from us. The seam is heat pressed as on the original. The KAWASAKI lettering is correct. If you're a restorer or collector who strives for perfection in every detail, we have the 1970 & 1971 H1 seat cover for you.

Our covers have stitched edges where the cover folds under the seat pan just like the original cover. A detail not often found on reproduction seat covers.

We also include a strap. The models sent to some countries had a passenger strap. You may not need it, but isn't it nice to have the option?
